Learning Support Teacher Role
We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team as a Learning Support Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with students, parents and staff to provide targeted educational support.
About the Role
This role involves working collaboratively with the Director of Learning Support and the LEAPS Coordinator to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students who require additional assistance. You will conduct assessments, communicate effectively with parents and external professionals, and work as part of a supportive team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
* A strong understanding of special education needs
* High-level communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and external professionals
