Job Description
Design and implement data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data models.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
Create and analyse reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across platforms.
Optimise existing data models and processes to improve performance and scalability.
Support ad hoc data analysis requests from various departments.
Stay updated on the latest GCP tools and technologies to enhance data capabilities.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Applicant
should have:
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools, including BigQuery and Dataflow.
Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.
Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience working in the retail industry is highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills to present insights to stakeholders effectively.
A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
