Overview
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to provide leadership in the management of projects and program workstreams for a significant multi-year business transformation program of work.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the Program Director, this 18-month Project Management contract will take a hands-on approach with delivering a broad range of compliance deliverables, driving engagement and communication to help build the required relationships and deliver complex and incremental change. This role will play a key role within the PMO and will be responsible for the timely delivery of milestones and the tracking of risks, dependencies, and issues. You will use, and support the improvement of, key project documentation, and the management of stakeholder relationships to ensure quality business outcomes and goals are achieved.
- Deliver a broad range of compliance deliverables and manage multiple workstreams within a multi-year transformation program.
- Engage with stakeholders, drive communication, build relationships, and deliver complex and incremental change.
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones and track risks, dependencies, and issues within the PMO.
- Collaborate on improving key project documentation and management of stakeholder relationships to achieve quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering projects within complex and progressive organizations, ideally large programs/projects.
- Experience managing project timelines, risks, actions, issues, and other key project documentation.
- Experience in risk or financial crime transformation is highly regarded.
- Understanding of project/program management techniques and methods; experience with Azure DevOps or JIRA is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and time management; ability to plan ahead, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills; familiarity with MS Project and Visio is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative leadership, communication, influencing, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to solicit, interpret, and provide judgment for PMO deliverables and reports; project management or equivalent industry experience.
