Overview
Clinical Nurse Educator Role
The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating clinical education and staff development initiatives in the Orthopaedic unit.
They will support the development and enhancement of clinical skills among nursing staff through education and training activities, collaborate with Nursing Unit Managers to foster a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.

To be successful, candidates must have current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA), relevant clinical/education post-registration qualification, recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel.
They will demonstrate ability to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate education, highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach.
Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching, mentoring and preceptorship, ability to work effectively in a team environment, commitment to working with NMUM to establish and maintain a learning environment that values reflective practice.
What We Are Looking For
* Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
* Relevant clinical/education post-registration qualification.
* Recent extensive clinical experience.
* Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs.
* Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
