Women in Business Mornington Peninsula & Frankston is a member-based professional association of Mornington Peninsula and Frankston women - business and community leaders committed to furthering purpose-led female businesses, supporting them to thrive and to extend our positive impacts within the community.
We are growing and looking to add to our team to strengthen our community, partnerships, and governance. What was previously one part time, multifaceted role is now able to be taken up separately, depending on your skills, experience and capacities. Each part of this role/s contribute to you as brand ambassador for the Association.
1. Memberships Lead – Be the heart of our member community. You'll drive membership growth and engagement, welcome new members, manage their end to end experience with the Association and ensure our network of inspiring women and purpose-driven businesses feel connected and supported. This work will connect with your experience in community engagement, membership organisations or customer relationship management and calls on communication skills and strategic thinking. 7-10 hours monthly.
2. Partnerships Lead – Help us grow our impact through meaningful partnerships and sponsorships. You'll identify and nurture relationships with businesses, government, and community leaders. This work will thrive off your background in partnerships, fundraising, sponsorships or business development, using your existing or developing community connections to establish mutually beneficial connections. 7-10 hours monthly.
3. Secretary – Ensure everything runs smoothly. In this role you will provide secretariat and governance support to the Board by coordinating meetings, managing communications and attending and supporting the delivery of events, amongst others. This position suits experience as a board secretary, committee support or EA/admin role and calls on your organisational skills, writing, communication and desire for order, process and herding busy, brilliant women (while being one hours monthly.
Each role is flexible and collectively can be up to 30 hours per month, remunerated at $40–$45/hr, with opportunities to increase based on growth outcomes. You'll also gain access to unique professional development opportunities, networking with local leaders, and the chance to directly support women-led businesses and community leaders in our region.
