Electronics Specialist Role
Bosch Oceania is seeking a highly motivated professional to drive the development of cutting-edge electronics components and ensure successful product introduction into production.
* Work with OEM's to develop electronic architectures that meet vehicle requirements.
* Define the necessary electronics for driving different loads and monitoring inputs.
* Design diagnostics for electronic circuits to ensure correct operation or safe shutdown.
* Carry out and supervise product development, designing new products, components, or systems.
* Ensure successful product introduction into production, working with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and quality standards.
* Perform development activities in line with company procedures and international standards.
* Define performance specifications and functional requirements for new projects and testing methods based on customer needs.
* Drive improvements in business systems, methods, and processes to enhance quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of development activities.
* Coordinate hardware problem-solving, investigations, and testing.
* Plan and track verification and validation activities to ensure product designs comply with specifications.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including schematics, Bill of Materials (BoM), and specifications.
* Support procurement of equipment and materials required for hardware activities.
* Identify potential risks, investigate mitigation solutions, and escalate issues when necessary.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while adhering to timing and quality expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Architecture, extensive experience in the automotive industry, and a proven track record of driving complex projects from conception to delivery.
