Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

Are you ready for a new challenge? Seeking a motivated Business Development Manager / Sales Executive to choose from a selection of Business Development/Sales roles located in Tullamarine or WFH and 100% remote available with Australian owned stable International Freight Forwarders.

Seasoned BDM professionals or Customer Service / KAM Candidates within Freight Forwarding looking to take the next step are welcome to apply

* You understand why and how important it is to maintain notes and software.
* You have experience inInternational Freight movements by air/ocean.


Job Description

* Reporting to Management team you will be required to build a dynamic set of growth opportunities. Your strong experience in the International Freight Forwarding sector will ensure you have the depth of knowledge to develop and take ownership of your pipeline. You will be accustomed to the processes of generating new business opportunities, leads, and accounts as well as maintaining targeted growth and development of the client portfolio. You will endeavour to achieve targets and KPIs set to achieve results sought.


Skills and Attributes

* Possesses high-level communication skills
* Currently employed in a Business Development / CS / KAM capacity within the International Freight Forwarding Sector
* Ability to build strong relationships
* Responsible for planning and carrying out direct sales activities to attain new accounts, prospecting, developing a pipeline
* Disciplined in providing sales reports as requested
