Warehouse Logistics Assistant - Fulltime permanent

It is an exciting time for us and our client's expansion who are one of the largest health care manufacturers globally. Their small close-knit team on Brisbane's northside based at Virginia are adding to their Logistics team to support this expansion adding an experienced Warehouse Logistics Assistant.
This role will see you work closely with the Administration Coordinator, Logistics & Warehouse Manager. Experience with SAP Inventory preferred but not essential. 2+ years' experience in Warehouse and inventory control. Excellent math and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Walkie, forklift experience required.
You will be responsible for maintaining and updating records. Monthly Cycle Counts. Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures. Stocking and distributing supplies.
Daily Duties:
- Picking and Packing
- Booking of freight
- Receipt and put away of stock
- Dispatch
- Answering of phone and customer inquiries
- Batch Control
- Physical work involved e.g. putting stock away and unloading container approx. every 3 months. Stock is light up to 10kg.
- Cleaning of warehouse and adhoc duties
- Stickering/Re-work
- Some product testing required.
