About The Opportunity
Are you passionate about aged care and nursing? We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, with penalty rates in play. We currently have ND shifts on offer with the ability to pick up extra shifts covering planned and unplanned leave. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care to the elderly in line with Aged Care and Allity standards while working within a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for completing holistic assessments, developing appropriate care plans, evaluating and determining clinical decisions that guide our care staff.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, helping them maintain independence and ensuring health and wellness. These include:
Providing and monitoring the care of residents
Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team
To be successful, you will have
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, in aged care is desirable
Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse; in-charge experience desirable
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
Complete a police check
2025 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
