Your Opportunity
As a key leader, you will be responsible for the operational management and coordination of the Marketing team to ensure provision of quality, cost effective local marketing. You will lead and manage a highly effective TAFE Services team to meet the needs of TQ market and customers in a contemporary learning and teaching environment.
This position sits within the Business, Innovation and Commercial Portfolio and reports to the Director, Customer Engagement & Marketing.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity.
The position will be based primarily at Southbank however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, and Focusing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.
- Manage effective relationships and networks to develop alliances with internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely delivery of regional marketing activities.
- Develop and manage the annual Regional Marketing Plan to drive local area marketing initiatives for the region while adhering to the TAFE Queensland Marketing Brand Strategy.
- Lead a team to execute regional multichannel marketing activities, ensuring alignment of communications and messaging across all channels to support the region.
- Work with the Director of Customer Engagement and Marketing to identify effectiveness and impact of local-area marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimise accordingly in line with regional performance targets.
- Lead a team of marketing and communication professionals by providing guidance on individual and team performance and fostering individual growth while promoting a shared vision.
- Manage and prepare budgets, business cases and proposals as required to support Brisbane marketing initiatives enhancing budget and fiscal performance, including ongoing promotion of improved efficiency by reducing cost and enhancing outcomes specific to Brisbane.
- Demonstrate, promote and operationalise organisational skills within the business unit through overseeing the end to end delivery of marketing projects, incorporating workflow management, progress reporting and evaluation, with particular emphasis on responsiveness, accuracy and accountability.
- Manage the integration of Brisbane educational planning into local marketing plans for relevant market segments and teams to align with business development and sales programs, inclusive of Commercial Sales and other regional speciality areas (bksb, Small Business Solutions etc.).
- Work with the Director of Customer Engagement & Marketing To analyse enrolment data and identify areas requiring remedial action to support organisational performance targets.
- In consultation with relevant stakeholders implement local marketing activities to optimise enrolments into TAFE Queensland Brisbane and state-wide Higher Education programs, (inclusive of partnership programs).
- Provide marketing support as applicable to significant TAFE Queensland partners.
