The Team: Subacute, Aged & Community Services is located within the stream structure of Hospitals South. This stream manages inpatient, community services and rural hospitals in the south of Tasmania. All services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce and the Tasmanian community. The Role: The role of the Executive Support Officer is to support the efficient operation of the Sub Acute Aged and Community Services Stream (SAACS) through the provision of efficient and confidential support to the Nursing Director, Clinical Director, and broader leadership team. This includes high-level executive, administrative and secretarial support encompassing the preparation, coordination, and management of confidential documentation and managing competing priorities. You will need to: Provide high-level executive support to the Nursing Director, Clinical Director, and Leadership Team of Sub Acute Aged and Community Services (SAACS) Stream, including managing email workflow, diary management, scheduling appointments, organising meeting requirements, collation of papers, and preparing and handling highly confidential, politically sensitive, and complex documentation and enquiries. Provide a high-level reception service ensuring sensitivity and confidentiality for routine and complex issues relating to the SAACS Stream and undertake follow up action as required. Contribute to the efficient and effective workflow and sharing of information by assisting with and providing a single focal point for incoming and outgoing high-level communications and documentation for the SAACS Stream including contracts, business cases, minutes, ministerial, and establishment variations. Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
