For Payroll Professionals, this presents a highly engaging and technically diverse environment involving end-to-end Payroll operations across a multi-award workforce, compliance with SCHADS and related industrial instruments and the delivery of accurate and timely Payroll services that directly support MCM’s high-quality frontline service delivery. THE OPPORTUNITY Operating as a Payroll specialist, you’ll provide expert advice on Payroll, employment conditions and policies while supporting statutory reporting and data-driven decisions. You’ll maintain data integrity across Payroll and HRIS systems, contribute to continuous improvement/risk management and support a high-performing team through knowledge sharing and process improvement. Key objectives: Process fortnightly, month-end and year-end Payroll, including timesheets, leave, super, salary packaging and ATO obligations Advise staff and managers on Payroll, Agreement entitlements, employment conditions and related policies Deliver statutory and compliance reporting including Portable LSL and WGEA Produce high-quality Payroll and workforce reports to identify risks and improvement opportunities Conduct QA reviews of HRIS/Payroll processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, compliance and service Collaborate within a small team and across People and Quality Systems to support delivery and problem-solving IDEAL APPLICANTS You will present as a seasoned Payroll Professional with at least 1 – 2 years of experience using the TechnologyOne Payroll module. Experience in interpreting and applying Agreement provisions and employment terms and conditions, ideally in the NFP sector, would be looked upon favourably and applicants with exposure to the SCHADS Award are especially encouraged to apply. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE? Success in this role is operating as the subject matter expert for TechnologyOne by taking ownership of system integrity, troubleshooting, continuous improvement and report design. You will build capability across the wider team by providing clear training, guidance and support on Payroll processes whilst identifying efficiencies/improvements to enhance user experience.
