Your new opportunity
We're looking for a Risk Insurance Advisor to join our Investment Services team. In this client-facing role, you'll be responsible for advising clients on their insurance needs by understanding their financial position and tailoring personal insurance solutions that provide protection in the event of a Life, Trauma, TPD or Income Protection event. You'll work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality advice, exceptional service, and peace of mind when it matters most.
What You'll Do
Meet with clients and respond to queries to understand and support their insurance needs
Deliver tailored, strategic insurance advice aligned to each client's personal and financial goals
Coordinate the end-to-end implementation process in partnership with our paraplanning and administration teams
Proactively review and update insurance strategies to ensure ongoing suitability
Review and contribute to advice documents prepared by paraplanners and administrative team members
Maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external providers
Follow structured workflows and keep accurate client records
Identify cross-referral opportunities across the Investment Services team
Take part in training and development to strengthen technical and client service skills
What You'll Bring
Have a current Authorised Representative Status
Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or a related field
Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and RG146 compliance
Meet FASEA, TASA and other relevant legislative requirements
Strong relationship-building skills and ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders
Pragmatic thinker with a genuine focus on creating smart client solutions
