Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geological Field Manager to lead our exploration teams in the field. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in geological exploration, project management, and team leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising drilling activities, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, and overseeing the work of contractors and colleagues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Our Senior Geological Field Manager will also be responsible for performing high-quality geological logging, maintaining exploration databases, and mentoring junior geologists and field technicians. A strong understanding of geological interpretation, 3D modeling, and QA/QC practices is required for this position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Master's degree in geology or related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in exploration or resource development geology
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of GIS and 3D modeling software
* Ability to work in remote areas with limited resources
