Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse - Child and Family Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality healthcare services to families with children under 5 years old in North West Tasmania.

Main Responsibilities:
* Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate health care in collaboration with individuals/groups, families, and communities.
* Teamwork: Interact effectively with clients' families and other professionals to facilitate the provision of optimum child-centred healthcare.
* Excellence in Practice: Be actively involved in maintaining and continually improving the quality of patient/client care, including participation in research and evidence-based practice.
* Learning Culture: Identify and meet client goals in partnership with clients and their families/significant others.
* Participate in and contribute to the organisation's Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including the development and implementation of safety systems, improvement initiatives, and related training.
Requirements:
* Current knowledge of, and the ability to apply nursing principles, procedures, and practices in the delivery of client care in child and family health nursing and in line with legal requirements and the NMBA National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse.
* Demonstrated sound knowledge of the principles of primary healthcare and the ability to apply these in child and family health nursing.
* Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills, and the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
