About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Foreman with a strong carpentry background to oversee daily operations on residential construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day site operations
* Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and company procedures
* Supervise trades and contractors to meet project timelines
* Carry out site setup including amenities, signage, and safety measures
* Complete pre-start, pre-completion, and quality inspection checklists
* Track progress against the site program and report to the Project Manager
* Identify and rectify non-compliant or defective work
* Maintain accurate site records and documentation
* Support practical work on site when required
Requirements:
* Carpentry trade qualification (required)
* Demonstrated experience in residential construction
* Strong understanding of WHS regulations
* Ability to lead and supervise site teams
* Good communication, organisation, and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
