The MyWorkZone Product & Business Architecture team plays a critical role in aligning technology solutions with business goals. It ensures that the products delivered through MyWorkZone are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and strategically aligned with broader organisational objectives. About the role The Functional Analyst role sits in the MyWorkZone Product & Business Architecture branch within Government Shared Services (GSS). The Functional Analyst will identify, analyse and document product and business processes, systems, and other functional requirements to support efficient delivery of business operations and performance in line with organisational strategies and operations. The successful applicant will report to the relevant Product/Solution Lead. 1 X Functional Analyst – Finance (Parramatta based role) Experience supporting projects that deliver financial, HR ERP projects mapping business capabilities to product features and processes Functional Analyst experience supporting business transformation solutions, including flexible, scalable processes and technology that support efficient business operations. Experience in identifying areas for process improvement and applying SAP Best Practices to support efficient and standardised business operations. Experience in supporting change impacts, risks, issues and interdependencies across multiple project streams. Business Analysis experience supporting complex and sensitive consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders. 3 X Functional Analyst – HCM & Payroll (Parramatta or Orange based role) Experience supporting SAP HCM transactional services, ideally supporting large scale SAP HCM projects. Extensive experience in supporting end to end HR transactional services (Payroll, Payroll Production/Reconciliation and/or HCM/OM) in a complex shared services environment with a diverse client base. Business Analysis experience supporting complex and sensitive consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders. Experience in identifying areas for process improvement and applying SAP Best Practices to support efficient and standardised business operations. Business Analysis experience supporting the successful adoption of harmonised business transformation solutions, including flexible, scalable processes and technology that support efficient business operations. Your day-to-day Identify, analyse and translate business processes, technical functions and a broad range of data to enhance business performance. Investigate problems, analyse options and provide recommendations for new and existing services Deliver targeted data driven insights into the underlying drivers of commercial outcomes to translate complex analysis into meaningful insights, develop appropriate recommendations and identify interdependencies to support decision making Commitment to customer service and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
