Your Responsibilities as a SEN TA:
Provide one-to-one or small group support for students withSEN
Assist in implementingIndividual Education Plans (IEPs)
Support learning activities and encourage student engagement
Help students build confidence, social skills, and independence
Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to monitor progress
Maintain accurate records of student development and achievements
What We're Looking for in a SEN TA:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally withSEN
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to support behaviour management positively
Professional, reliable, and student-focused
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
