Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium, as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle, and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres hosts over 5 million people annually at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.
Venues NSW adopts an integrated approach to its stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies, and community groups. ABOUT THE ROLE
This role primarily supports project and contract management for capital works and development projects across Venues NSW, focusing mainly on Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium's assets and related works. The Project Manager serves as a liaison between the main contractor and Venues NSW operations.
The responsibilities include coordinating and managing project documentation, stakeholder engagement, site inspections, progress claims, commissioning, and compliance reviews to ensure successful project delivery and handover. The role also involves facilitating design workshops, monitoring contractor performance, and managing interfaces and defects throughout the project lifecycle.
ABOUT YOU
You should have project management experience with a proven ability to plan, anticipate, and mitigate potential risks. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage time-sensitive matters and deadlines.
