Library Services Officer
We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Library Services Officer to provide exceptional library services, assist customers, and contribute to engaging library programs and events.
The successful applicant will be part of a diverse team serving a community of over 135,000 residents. The City operates four libraries across Gosnells, Beckenham, Thornlie and Southern River and the successful applicant may be rostered at any of these locations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting customers with enquiries, memberships and digital support
* Contributing to library programs and events for children and adults
* General library operations, including desk shifts, stock processing and promoting library services across multiple locations
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Confidence in delivering library programs for children and adults
* Experience in libraries or a related customer service environment
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with teams, individuals and the community
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
