Following our appointment to a range of new contracts, we are looking to hire an additional TMD resource. Excessive work hours and long shifts are not part of our business model and Skyring is focussed on creating a positive work environment which allows the successful candidate to work flexibly in the hours that suit them.
Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, work-from-home role which can be located anywhere in QLD. Our existing staff are based in Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Gympie and Brisbane although there is no expectation that the successful candidate needs to be located in these cities. We are looking for an existing Traffic Management Designer (QLD) or a TMI who has the necessary experience to meet the TMD course entry requirements and is looking to step into their next role as a TMD Trainee.
The role includes preparing and reviewing traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes, ensuring compliance with TMR standards and guidelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and identifying solutions to optimise project objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of effective and innovative traffic management strategies, supporting overall project efficiency and stakeholder requirements.
Qualifications
* Relevant certifications as a TMD-QLD (Traffic Management Designer) are desirable
* Alternatively, we would welcome applications from a TMI (QLD) who meets the entry requirements for the TMD course and is looking to transition to an office-based role.
Knowledge
* Knowledge and skills in Traffic Management Design, including creating and reviewing traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes
* Understanding of Safety Standards, Workplace Health and Safety, and compliance management systems
* Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
* Aptitude for developing and implementing cost-saving and safety-improving solutions in traffic management projects
