1. Design and Optimisation of Biochemical Processes: Lead the design, optimisation, and scale-up of biochemical processes to support growth from bench to industrial production.

2. Team Leadership and Integration: Oversee the biochemical R&D and production teams, building capabilities and ensuring successful integration of new technologies.

3. Techincal Direction and Mentoring: Provide technical direction across upstream and downstream operations, ensuring robust sterile practices, process control, and analytical monitoring. Mentor and develop colleagues while coordinating closely with engineering, hardware, and software teams.

4. Business Alignment: Ensure biochemical process activities align with wider business objectives, enabling successful transition into manufacturing.

Key Requirements

* A Degree or higher level in Biochemical Engineering / Cell Biology / Biomanufacturing (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management for QA roles).

* Extensive expertise in biochemical process development and successful scale-up, including experience at 1000L scale or above.

* Proven ability to adapt and apply processes within novel or proprietary bioreactor systems.
", "
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams.
