Our rosters
We offer flexible full-time and part-time options to fit your lifestyle. Choose from:
* Full-time: 16 shifts/month
* Fractional: e.g. week-on/week-off, or one week every four weeks
* FIFO travel days included as paid time
* The PHC team works Monday to Friday, day shifts only
We're looking for GPs who have:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
* Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (Senior Registrars welcome to apply)
* 5–7 years of relevant clinical experience
* Sound primary health and emergency care knowledge
* Experience in rural/remote medicine and cultural competence with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

Registrar Training Opportunities
RFDS supports training toward Fellowship with RACGP and ACRRM.Registrars will work with their Medical Lead to create a training plan that ensures a broad range of learning and hands-on experience. For more details on training positions with RFDS (Queensland Section), including an exciting, shared placement with NWHHS, please refer to our practice profile on the ACRRM and RACGP Registrar portals. All appointments require a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing), a valid Australian driver's licence, the ability to obtain an ASIC card, and compliance with RFDS and Queensland Health credentialing and VPD requirements.
