Silverstrand is seeking an experienced Civil Planner looking to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane Head Office and employed on a permanent basis. Base Salary Super Vehicle KPI Bonus Scheme About the role: Reporting to the Construction Manager. Review project planning and programmes for the estimating and project teams. Prepare and review detailed programmes for all stages of infrastructure projects that are fully resourced and costed, and work with internal teams to manage programs to ensure project remains on target. Lead and ensure appropriate programmes and planning are delegated efficiently, ensuring timely processes are kept for the transition of pre to post tender stages. Present completed programmes to the necessary teams for review, alterations or overall collaborative feedback. Undertake appropriate risk analysis and utilise risk management procedures to mitigate project risks as identified. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to assess the effects of deviations from the project’s programme to ensure correction action is implemented by project team as early as possible. Communicate and provide clear guidance to project teams on project status including any issues that might arise. Assist to assess delays and disruptions in line with tender programs. Work with Construction team to facilitate the start of projects and hand over to internal project team after successful tender bid. Work with estimating team to review tender documents, identify contract requirements and review any other factors that might affect project timing when responding to tenders. Alongside the estimating team, forecast all cost and time frames for project scope to assist the construction team delivery. Ensure reporting is overseen and any discretions addressed with the planning team prior to distribution to project teams. Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports inclusive of dashboards, histograms and s-curves to all key stakeholders and executive management team. Liasing with site team to accurately capture and report on project progress.
