The Opportunity
The Vine Inn Barossa is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Bottle Shop Manager to help oversee our busy drive through bottle shop.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning community owned hotel that values initiative and teamwork.
As Assistant Bottle Shop Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operations of our drive through bottle shop, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and outstanding service. You'll assist leading a hard-working team and work closely with the bottle shop manager and management to achieve sales and operational targets.
You will need to be available to work across Store Trading hours, including weeknights and weekends.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing stock levels, ordering, and inventory control, with the Bottle Shop Manager and in their absence.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and company policies.
Leading our team through effective coaching and leadership to ensure ongoing business enhancement and growth.
Delivering exceptional customer service and drive sales.
Helping foster a positive team culture and clear communication.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in retail liquor sales with a strong knowledge of wines, beer, spirits and the liquor industry (management experience highly regarded).
RSA certification must be held before starting in the position.
Forklift license (or be willing to obtain one).
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Ability or willingness to learn, to manage stock and operational targets.
The ability to communicate professionally with a diverse range of customers and suppliers.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
