The Opportunity - Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor
You will lead supervision for subcontractor testing and commissioning activities for mechanical plant, equipment, and associated control systems integration on a major metro infrastructure project in Western Sydney. The role ensures mechanical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual, statutory, and operational requirements before handover to operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate on-site subcontractor activities across stations, linewide works and stabling & maintenance facilities
* Plan, coordinate and supervise Mechanical Services commissioning (HVAC, wet fire, TVS, pumps, hydraulics, lifts and escalators)
* Enforce project health and safety requirements, including SWMS compliance and Your Life Safety Rules
* Collaborate with Construction Site Engineers & Supervisors to resolve issues impacting testing and commissioning programs
* Provide technical troubleshooting and effective coordination with Construction, HSEQ, Quality, P&E and T&C Engineering teams
* Work with the Managers, Engineers and Senior Supervisors and other Supervisors to create a collaborative team environment to achieve positive outcomes
What We're Looking For
* Mechanical Trade Certificate and Driver License
* Safety‐first approach and motivate subcontractor teams to ensure delivery of exceptional outcome
* Experience leading and coordinating on-site subcontractor teams across complex infrastructure projects
* Strong background in Mechanical Services commissioning supervision (HVAC, wet fire, TVS, pumps, lifts and escalators)
* Proven commitment to health and safety, including enforcing SWMS and project safety rules
* Ability to work collaboratively with construction teams to identify and resolve issues impacting testing and commissioning programs
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on mentoring teams and coordinating with key project stakeholders
