Job Summary
Senior Coordinator – Melbourne City Economy. Salary: $121,095 to $136,286 plus 12% Superannuation.
Backfill opportunity from 24 May 2026 to 18 June 2027.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver complex projects and programs that support economic growth and business activity across Melbourne, including business grants programmes and shopfront activation initiatives.
* Manage project lifecycles end‐to‐end, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with industry, government and internal stakeholders to influence and drive outcomes.
* Prepare high‐quality reports, briefings and strategic advice for senior leadership and Councillors.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant qualifications and/or experience in economic development, business or a related field.
* Proven experience leading and delivering complex projects/programs in a fast‐paced, multifaceted environment.
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
* Experience preparing high‐quality reports, briefings and strategic documentation.
