About The Role

With a 25‐year contract to deliver operations, maintenance and asset management services, we provide an opportunity to be part of a highly functional team building operational solutions.
Role Responsibilities (Pre‐Operations)
* Attend site inspections to gain asset construction knowledge and participate in construction inspections.
* Develop maintenance instruction processes and procedures to ensure readiness for the transition to the Operations and Maintenance phase.
* Coordinate with engineering, construction and asset teams to understand asset handover requirements and asset functionality.
* Mobilise and prepare a future team of road maintenance workers, including recruitment, rostering, training and inductions.
* Support the readiness of the workshop, stores, plant, vehicles and equipment.
Role Responsibilities (Operations Phase)
* Supervise a team of road maintenance workers, continuously training and supporting them, producing best‐practice maintenance outcomes.
* Ensure the asset management system and works planning is followed, maintaining comprehensive records in the asset management system to the highest level.
* Provide recommendations to the Asset Team of defect information, severity to Code of Maintenance Standard levels, with efficient planning and execution of required works.
* Assist in the compilation of records, including inventory information, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
* Monitor and drive performance against maintenance KPIs.
* Coach and develop the maintenance team to maintain a high‐performing, safety‐focused culture.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying better ways of working and embedding lessons learned into maintenance practices.
* Be the technical expert for the road maintenance team, advising on complex matters.
About You
* Supervisory experience in either Road Maintenance, Operations or Construction field.
* White Card and driver's licence.
* Good understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. IBM Maximo).
* Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel.
* Exposure to large PPP Construction projects will be highly regarded.
