Role Overview
The Product Manager is responsible for identifying, defining and driving Fivecast products and features through a complete lifecycle from inception to support. The Product Manager works with all areas of the Fivecast business, including Product Development, Marketing and Sales to help execute the Product Roadmap.
Responsibilities
* Developing a deep understanding of competitive landscape.
* Understanding customer's problems and defining solutions to address them.
* Defining go to market strategy for identified products and features.
* Developing product specifications and feature descriptions.
* Defining User Experience in collaboration with the UX Designers.
* Working with clients to elicit requirements during product inception and throughout the product lifecycle.
* Working with the technical teams to steer and oversee feature development and release products and features to clients.
* Working with Marketing and Sales to ensure adoption and on‐going success of developed capability.
* Assist Head of Product with shaping the Product Roadmap.
Requirements
Defence Clearance: Eligibility for NV1 defence clearance (requires Australian citizenship AND ten years of residency)
Tertiary Qualifications: University Bachelor's degree.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in product management / business analysis / systems engineering with significant time spent in business requirements analysis, product definition and end user engagement.
* Experience in high tech sector working on web applications.
* Experience working in the domains of AI, Data Science, Risk Analytics and data visualisation.
* Recent experience with and understanding of generative AI.
* Ability to work with stakeholders to elicit and manage requirements, including clients and other engineering staff.
* Ability to develop product specifications, feature descriptions and product roadmaps.
* Strong organisational skills, is detail oriented, and a pro‐active team player.
