Management Accountant opportunity in Brisbane, ideally for newly qualified CA/CPA

They are continuously growing throughout APAC, and hence the creation of this new Management Accountant role which will be hired on a permanent full-time basis.
Your new role
This is a newly created position, offering you the prospect to shape the role and make it your own. As a Management Accountant, you will not only deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis but also play a key part in strategic projects and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work closely with the Projects Team and senior stakeholders to provide insights that influence business decisions.Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly and annual management reports
- Month-end and year-end closing activities
- Budget preparation, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Analysing variances and providing actionable insights
- Maintaining cost accounting systems and conducting cost analysis
- Supporting audits and ensuring compliance
- Driving process improvements and contributing to special projects
- Be involved with a large-scale ERP implementation in 2026
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, CA, or CIMA qualification (or working towards)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in management accounting
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems (SAP, Oracle or similar)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
