Position: Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Wollongong, NSW
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with mental health diagnoses.
- Assist participants in daily living activities and promote their independence.
- Implement personalized care plans and support strategies.
- Foster a protected and supportive environment for all participants.
Requirements:
- Must have excellent English communication and verbal skills.
- Experience with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis, paranoia and complex behaviours (highly desirable)
- Valid driver's license and own transport
- NDIS Clearance
- Strong mental health experience
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Police check
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Completion of NDIS Orientation Modules
- Infection control training
- Mental Health1st aid (Desirable)
- Mental Health Cert – (Desirable)
