Job Responsibilities:
- Design and create visually appealing landscapes tailored to client specifications.
- Plan and execute garden layouts using appropriate plant materials, hardscaping elements, and irrigation systems.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and understand client needs.
- Manage and supervise landscaping projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality workmanship.
- Provide ongoing garden maintenance services, including pruning, weeding, and pest control.
- Collaborate with clients to provide expert advice on landscape maintenance and plant care.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental practices throughout all landscaping processes.
- Maintain tools and equipment for optimum performance and safety.
- Keep detailed records of project progress and client interactions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape gardening or related fields.
- Proven knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and construction methods.
- Relevant qualifications in horticulture, landscape architecture, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in landscape project management and supervision.
- Demonstrated ability in using landscaping tools and machinery safely.
- Familiarity with local plant varieties and climate considerations.
- Previous experience working with clients in a customer service-oriented role.
Salary :
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $74,000 to $85,000 AUD.
