The Role
We are looking for a Track Assembly Machine Operator to assist in Dozer and Excavator Track Assembly and Disassembly at our new workshop in Yatala, Queensland.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, punctual, and have an eye for detail. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive package with occasional overtime. Workshop hours are 7.00 am till 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Tasks and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Operate heavy machinery and tooling including angle grinders, impact and hydraulic torque wrenches and presses.
* Follow safe work procedures and guidelines at all times
* Work cohesively as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner
* Repair and refurbish earthmoving undercarriage components
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop
Qualifications:
* A current forklift licence is desirable
* The ability to use an oxy-acetylene cutting torch would be beneficial
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in earthmoving undercarriage repairs is highly desirable
* Good communication skills
* A valid driver's license
