Enterprise Applications Manager About the Role Freighter Group is seeking a strategic Enterprise Applications Manager to serve as the focal point for managing the implementation, governance, and support of our core applications. This is a pivotal leadership position overseeing the strategic direction of our Information Systems (IS) suite across cross-functional departments. Based at our Ballarat Head Office, you will orchestrate the planning, architecting, and evolving of secure and robust systems. You will lead a dedicated IS team that underpins our Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Dealers, HR, and Technology sectors. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership: Collaborate with the Head of IT and Executive team to prioritise initiatives that support business strategy. Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor the technology team, cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and reliability. Digital Transformation: Drive transformation using emerging technologies and AI to improve business processes and efficiency. Systems Management: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex integrations and ERP-level systems. Operational Support: Provide BAU technical support to end-users to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Financial Oversight: Manage the department budget and identify cost-optimisation opportunities. Vendor Management: Administer procurement, contract renewals, and regular vendor performance reviews. Project Management: Plan and monitor projects related to system integrations, ensuring they meet timelines and quality standards. Required Skills and Experience Industry Experience: Minimum of ten years delivering ERP implementations within the manufacturing industry. Technical Proficiencies: Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, JD Edwards E1, SAP CRM, PLM software, HRIS, and complex integrations. Leadership: Proven ability to inspire a team and work effectively in a matrix environment. Project Methodology: Knowledge of system development methodologies, project management principles, and ITIL. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Global Exposure: Experience in a global matrix management environment is highly regarded. Location & Requirements This role is based in our Ballarat manufacturing office. The successful candidate is required to be on-site five days a week .
