About the role
The role works within the Delivery PMO team to apply, maintain, and improve project governance frameworks, portfolio monitoring, performance reporting, and capability-building initiatives that underpin effective infrastructure delivery. The position contributes to organisational success by supporting sound project planning, risk management, and reporting practices that ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with Parks Victoria's strategic priorities.
This role plays a key part in supporting Parks Victoria's transformation and "back to basics" approach - ensuring Victoria's parks and reserves are managed sustainably and remain accessible to all visitors, while protecting their natural and cultural values.
About the Team
The Infrastructure and Assets Directorate is Parks Victoria's centre of expertise in the construction, management and maintenance of more than 78,000 assets and other visitor infrastructure in parks, reserves and designated local ports and waterways, ensuring they are open, safe and clean for people to enjoy the outdoors. The directorate is responsible for organisational strategy, planning, investment cases, scheduling, and performance monitoring and reporting for park asset and infrastructure management programs and capital project delivery.
We're looking for someone with :
* Extensive experience in project or program coordination, performance reporting, or PMO operations within a complex organisation.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, business, engineering, or a related field is required.
* Sound understanding of asset management, capital project management methodologies, portfolio governance and assurance frameworks.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
