About the Role
As an IT Systems Engineer – Level 2, you will provide Level 2 technical support to Iocane clients and assist with infrastructure support and project delivery.
You will work closely with senior engineers and the service delivery team to deliver reliable, professional ICT services. This hands‐on role includes work across Microsoft and VMware environments and exposure to a broad range of technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide Level 2 technical support and troubleshooting
* Support Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
* Support server and infrastructure environments
* Support VMware virtualisation platforms
* Assist with infrastructure projects and implementations
* Deliver tasks in line with customer expectations
* Maintain accurate technical documentation and service records
* Prepare and implement change requests
* Identify and communicate technical issues promptly
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must hold at least one relevant certification such as MCSA, MCSE, or VCP or equivalent
Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects and providing client-focused IT support
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to clients and colleagues
Hands‐on, proactive approach to problem‐solving and system management
VMware technologies (vSphere, VDI, Horizon) and Microsoft environments is highly desirable
Experience with Hyper‐V
Ability to obtain an NV1 (Negative Vetting Level 1) Security Clearance
