Job Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the delivery of civil engineering projects, encompassing earthworks, in-ground services and civil structures. This entails overseeing various aspects, including project planning, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prioritize and conduct complex engineering tasks independently without direct supervision.
* Offer expert advice on specialized engineering areas, utilizing extensive knowledge and experience.
* Coordinate and oversee multi-disciplinary design activities, ensuring seamless integration of different departments.
* Maintain technical interfaces between disciplines, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
* Assist in forecasting project outcomes and assessing constructability, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Considerable experience in Civil Engineering, preferably in energy/utilities projects.
* A valid driver's license is required for business purposes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
