The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team, supporting a national fleet of mobile drilling equipment across multiple mining operations.
This is a hands‐on role with real variety, travel, and exposure across site operations. Working a 14/14 roster, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and improving electrical systems across a mobile drill fleet. If you're a motivated and adaptable Electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and getting the job done right, we want to hear from you.
* Roster: 14/14 (FIFO)
* FIFO from all major cities
* Accommodation and meals provided
Responsibilities
* Commission, maintain, and support a fleet of Epiroc Smart 6M mobile drill rigs, including scheduled, breakdown, and statutory electrical servicing
* Maintain Raise Drill and Underground Diamond Drill fleets, covering all electrical maintenance including preventative, breakdown, and compliance work
* Perform electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across mobile drilling equipment
* Drive equipment reliability and availability through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory and site requirements
* Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve performance
Qualifications / Requirements
* Licensed Electrician
* Electrical licences across WA, NSW, and QLD (or ability to obtain)
* Current Senior First Aid/CPR and Low Voltage Rescue
* Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
* Experience with PLCs, RCS control systems, AC drives, VFDs, and CAN bus fault finding (highly regarded)
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
* Current Police Clearance (within 6 months)
