In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Own and articulate the product vision anchored around strong value propositions and differentiation that will drive revenue, margin expansion, and customer adoption.
Take a leadership role among Program Management, R&D and Business Analysts to drive delivery of product updates on time and on budget as agreed.
Through strong opportunity analysis, prioritize the projects and initiatives for your product that provide the best ROI to the business.
Execute the development and launch of complex New Product Development initiatives (e.g., cross-BU projects or multi-year projects) in accordance with Danaher Business System tools, with minimal supervision and possibly supervising others with a wide range of project complexity.
Either directly, or with assistance from Technical PMs or Business Analysts, work with stakeholders in the development of Product Requirements and concepts, including defining Minimal Marketable Product (MMP) for each product or release.
Location: This role is based in Melbourne, Australia and is an on-site role in Mount Waverley with international travel.
This position reports to the Director of Product Management and is part of the ASI Product Management team located in Melbourne, Australia.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum of undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in biomedical science, engineering, natural sciences, business, or medical fields.
Master's or PhD highly desirable.
While not essential, an MBA is desirable if the following criteria are met.
At least two of the following:
Minimum 5 years sales experience in Anatomical Pathology domain.
Minimum 5 years' experience working in Anatomical Pathology laboratories.
Minimum 5 years' experience working as Product Manager, preferably as Global Product Manager.
Minimum 5 years' experience working within R&D Product Development in Medical Devices field.
Proven track record of sustained success in the above fields.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Approx.
25% travel, predominantly overseas (NA & EU specifically).
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Marketing campaign creation and execution experience highly desired.
Competency in JIRA or similar project management tools.
Experience in communication and presentation to a broad audience of stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
