Who is DEVELOP?
DEVELOP (ASX: DVP) has a twin-pronged strategy for creating value.
The first of these centres on the exploration and production of future facing metals. As part of this, the Company's energy has focused on its Woodlawn Copper Zinc mine and Sulphur Springs Zinc-Copper mine whilst reviewing the newly acquired Pioneer Dome Lithium project.
The second plank of DEVELOP's strategy centres on the provision of underground mining services. As part of this, DEVELOP has an agreement with Bellevue Gold (ASX: BGL) to provide underground mining services at its Bellevue Gold Project in WA.
Woodlawn Copper-Zine Mine
DEVELOP's Woodlawn Copper-Zinc mine is located in the world-class Lachlan Fold belt in NSW, 250km south-west of Sydney.
Woodlawn is an advanced stage mine with the first two years of underground production already developed and a near new processing plant and related infrastructure in place. Additional investment in the asset over the last two years has yielded a new underground exclusive mine plan, backed by reserves for the next ten years.
The Opportunity: Paste Plant Operator
Reporting to the Paste Plant Coordinator, the Paste Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the paste plants, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high safety and operational standards.
Your main responsibilities as a Paste Plant Operator will include:
* Operate the paste plant in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements
* Follow and implement the approved paste fill plan
* Complete planned and unplanned maintenance tasks as required
* Conduct regular inspections of paste plant operational areas
* Maintain accurate shift logs and operational documentation
* Liaise closely with the Processing Crew Supervisor and Metallurgists
* Communicate key safety, operational, and production issues to relevant teams
* Assist with additional tasks as reasonably required by the Processing Crew Supervisor
* Maintain a strong commitment to safety and proactively manage potential risks to people and equipment
The Requirements of the role:
* Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
* Good Communication Skills.
* Demonstrated experience in a physically challenging work environment.
* Ability to provide leadership and training to new team members.
* Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and work practices.
* Possess, or able to obtain, Working at Heights competency.
* Possess, or able to obtain, Confined Space Entry competency.
* St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable).
* Awareness of processing plant safety requirements.
* Current \"C\" Class Drivers Licence.
