Disability Support Worker Opportunity
This role presents a unique chance to make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assistance with daily living and personal care tasks
* Accurate documentation and progress note keeping
* Providing behavioral support and adhering to behavior management plans
* Safe wheelchair transfers and transportation, including full personal care tasks
* Medication assistance
Requirements:
* Valid Australian driver's license
* Current Provide First Aid Certificate and CPR qualification
* Certificate III Individual Support or similar, along with relevant mental health experience
* A commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting their needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals
* The ability to develop positive relationships with clients and support their Individual Personal Plans
* Previous experience supporting people with disability, behaviors of concern, or mental health, including complex High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA)
Applicants will be required to undergo probity checks, including a National Criminal History Record Check and hold NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
