We currently have a Full-time position available for an experienced and professional Real Estate Trust Accounts Manager to be based in our Head Office in Upper Coomera, Gold Coast. Qld.
This role is ideal for seasoned accounting professionals with a passion for real estate and a desire to grow within the organisation. In joining our Sales and Property Management Team you will assist and manage our current growing needs within the team with the overall responsibility of Overseeing Belouis Realty's Financial Operations in the Real Estate portfolio within 3 states.
The successful applicant will also oversee and manage the Compliance and Operations of the Trust Accounts and the team. You will need to have a business management sense to grow the Trust account arm with compliance, procedures, and strict deadlines, and develop the Trust accounts team to support the expected growth across all 3 States.
Key Responsibilities
· Managing Trust Accounts – Ensuring Compliance with Legislation, processing transactions and supporting Property Management teams
Candidates must hold a current Real Estate Trust Account licence to manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with legislation.
· Financial Reporting – Preparing monthly reports, ensuring tax compliance, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions
· Compliance and Regulation – Maintaining accurate records to facilitate audits and ensuring all activities comply with relevant laws and regulations
· Client Communication – Liaising with Property Managers and clients regarding Trust Account balances and transactions
· Software Proficiency – Using accounting software like Property Me, Eagle Software and proficient with Microsoft suites.
The Requirements
· At least 7-10years' experience in Trust Accounts and previous management experience
· Strong background in Real Estate Accounting, Budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
Must be proficient with Property Me (Property Management), Eagle (Sales), Inspect Real Estate (Leasing) and Excel Spreadsheets.
· Daily receipting and checking bank statements
· Disbursement of funds to vendors and landlords
· Reconciling sales and rental trust account, weekly and end of month
· Outstanding telephone manner & time management
· Excellent time management, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
