The Role
The Front of House Manager at Gabbinbar is responsible for the coordination of wedding formalities, pack down of event spaces, food and drink service, and ensuring the overall wedding experience is delivered to the highest standard for couples, their guests and vendors.
As a key leadership role, the Front of House Manager will lead, motivate, and inspire their team to excel in their responsibilities. They will oversee the training, coaching, and development of team members, fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement. The position requires hospitality and leadership experience, exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of weddings and events.
Given the nature of weddings, the Front of House Manager will work on a flexible 7‑day roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
On offer is a full‑time position on a fixed‑term contract. Remuneration will be offered depending on skill level and experience, with yearly reviews and six‑month performance reviews to ensure growth in your career.
Key Responsibilities

* Support and practice workplace health and safety requirements.
About you
* 2+ years of hospitality experience is required
* 1+ years of team leadership experience is required
* Current RSA + Food Safety Certificate is required
* RMLV and approved managers licence (highly regarded but not essential)
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Exceptional personal presentation.
