We are currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated qualified Baker and/or Pastry Cook to join our team in a busy bakery in Mt Druitt Sydney NSW.
Job Summary - Baker
Mix ingredients (excellent dough maker) and bake ingredients using the understanding of the ingredients to produce breads, rolls or other baked goods including baguette and brioche, sourdoughs of various.
The Role
As a Baker you will need to possess the following:
- Dough mixing, pastry mixing, laminating and sheeting of pastry
- Kneading, hand moulding and scaling dough
- Monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures determine baking times
- Inspecting quality of products throughout production process
- Ensuring wastage is minimized and budget of supplies and materials are adhered
- A work ethic with a focus on continual self-improvement
- Creative drive and a genuine interest in food history and trends
Successful applicants should have the following:
- Relevant qualification as a BAKER
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
- Willingness to constantly learn and be inspired
Pay: $74,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
