Client Executive
Marsh is seeking candidates for the position of Client Executive .
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate and Commercial team at Marsh. This role will be based in Cairns. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role will suit an experienced insurance broker with 12 to 18 months experience managing a SME portfolio of business. It will provide exposure to a diverse portfolio of risks, participation in new business tenders and proposals, building a network of opportunities and assisting with the placement of complex insurance programs.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a portfolio of key revenue-generating accounts while ensuring high-quality customer service.
* Develop, pursue and convert new business opportunities.
* Grow a commercial portfolio through new logo and organic expanded opportunities.
* Assist with the placement of complex insurance programs and new business, providing valuable support to senior brokers and leadership.
* On-board new clients and deliver on our value proposition.
* Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers.
* Plan, and implement effective renewal and broking strategies.
* Ensure effective account retention and defense strategies are in place for all clients.
* Actively participate in claim-related matters.
Qualifications
* 12 to 18 months broking experience.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously within a multi‑skilled team.
* Moderate knowledge of risks and insurance products for key industry sectors.
* Motivation to self‑start, enhanced by time management skills.
* Capability to identify and address issues through innovative thinking.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite and demonstrated ability to learn systems quickly.
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualifications or higher.
