We do! Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker and be part of an independent, not-for-profit organisation improving the lives of thousands of older people in need. HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in Tweed Head region on a Part-time or Casual basis. Also the Byron Shire" including Suffolk Park, Bangalow, Mullumbimby, Brunswick, Burringbar to Murwillumbah. The successful applicant must be availble Mon, Wed, Fri from 1000 - 1600.
Responsibilities
* Provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day-to-day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship.
* Travel to clients' homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time).
About you
* You're a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused.
* You have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care.
* You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).
* Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, we can help.
* You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients.
