We are now seeking a Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our dedicated team and play a key role in keeping our financials accurate, our administration streamlined, and our operations running efficiently.

About the Role
This is a hands-on (school hours) position combining bookkeeping (AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, reporting) with general office administration and business support. You'll work closely with the General Manager and department heads, providing accurate financial insight and assisting with the smooth running of day-to-day office functions.

What You'll Be Doing
* Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and supplier payments
* Processing payroll, superannuation, leave balances, and staff records
* Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash
* Preparing BAS, PAYG summaries, and financial reports (in collaboration with our accountant)
* Maintaining accurate digital and physical financial records
* Assisting with project/job costing and purchase orders
* Supporting general office administration – phones, filing, scheduling, supplier coordination
* Preparing documents, reports, and correspondence as required
* Assisting with HR administration and onboarding documentation

What We're Looking For
* Minimum12 months experience in bookkeeping/accounting support using Xero
* Knowledge of AP/AR, payroll processing, reconciliations, and BAS preparation
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident communicator with professional email and phone etiquette
* Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
* Comfortable working in a small, collaborative office environment

* Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Accounts Administration, or Business
* Experience in a trades, manufacturing, project-based, or small business environment
* Exposure to job costing or project accounting
