Job Description
As a Health & Safety Business Partner, you’ll work closely with site leadership and frontline teams to promote a culture of safety ownership and continuous improvement. This role is hands-on and influential—balancing advisory expertise with the ability to roll up your sleeves and make safety part of the daily rhythm.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Partner with operational leaders to embed proactive safety behaviours and best practice
* Lead and facilitate risk assessments, safety initiatives, and incident investigations
* Coach and mentor teams on effective consultation, risk management, and compliance
* Implement and maintain our HSE Management System, including updates and improvements
* Drive key safety programs at site level—Critical Risk Management, system usage, and a “Just Safety” culture
* Support execution of safety plans including gap analysis, training, and reporting
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
We are seeking a Health and Safety Business Partner with an OHS qualification and at least 5 years of experience in an HSE advisory or business partnering role. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to influence and engage teams at all levels, alongside a strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and HSE Management Systems. Hands-on experience with tools such as DoneSafe or equivalent is essential. A collaborative approach, practical mindset, and the confidence to drive results will be key to success in this role.
Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or high-risk operational environments is highly regarded.
