About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for conducting tests and analyses on chemical, microbial samples and raw materials.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct sampling, preparation, testing, and analysis of chemical, microbial samples and raw materials
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders via verbal and written means to communicate accurate test results
* Maintain, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment correctly as required
* Houseskeeping of the laboratory environment
To succeed in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field. Experience in a similar capacity is preferred, along with excellent computer and report writing skills. You must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills, as well as possess initiative and enthusiasm.
