We are seeking passionate and experienced Casual Chefs to join our dynamic kitchen team at the West Australian Golf Club in Yokine, WA. This casual role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment within the hospitality industry.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our members and guests
* Ensuring all menu items are prepared to the highest standard using fresh, quality ingredients
* Collaborating with the head chef to develop new and innovative menu items
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
* Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Providing excellent customer service to members and guests
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in a similar role within the hospitality industry
* Formal culinary training or qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and culinary techniques
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
